All aboard for Oktoberfest Train Rides! Grab your lederhosen and enjoy complimentary tastings from more than a dozen local craft breweries on Saturday, September 21, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Ride the train to visit all of the tasting stations! Choose the time of your first ride, and ride between all the stations as often as you like! Discover great craft beverages at both ends of the ride. Ticket purchase includes museum admission and free souvenir tasting glass. Refreshments available for purchase. Free soft drinks for Designated Drivers.

Ciderfest Train Rides

Looking for a fun fall activity for you and your friends? All aboard for Ciderfest Rails! New York State is known for its long tradition of refreshing hard ciders, with the Rochester area home to scores of new craft distilleries. Enjoy complimentary tastings of local craft cider on Sunday, September 22, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy train rides that tour our museum grounds and visit New York’s largest collection of historic trains. Refreshments available for purchase. Free soft drinks for Designated Drivers.

Salute to Veterans
September 28-29

We salute the sacrifice put forth by our military veterans with this special event, in cooperation with the Black Lions 2-28 Vietnam Living History Group. Visit exhibits and encampments at both ends of the ride as you tour our museum exhibits. Visitors will enjoy historic weapons firing demonstrations and other living history representations during their visit. Veterans and Active Military ride FREE.
