Two of our most recent restoration projects were featured in the January 2013 issue of Railfan & Railroad magazine! The “Lineside Legacy” preservation column titled “There is a Light at the End of the Tunnel,” described how the completion of the rebuilding of RG&E 1941 helped in planning the restoration of Lehigh Valley caboose 95100. The article put the spotlight on our volunteers and helps explain that railway preservation is not as simple as dragging something from the scrap yard and slapping on fresh paint. Many folks work behind the scenes to make sure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Pick up a copy today, or better yet, come down to the museum sometime and help lend a hand!
