Lehigh Valley 95100 is a prime example of a “Northeastern” style caboose home built in the railroad’s shops in Sayre, Pa., in 1941. The opportunity arose for us to purchase it from a private owner, but instead the car was sent to a scrap yard in Shortsville.

We scrambled to raise additional funds and literally picked this caboose off the scrap pile and delivered it to the museum in October 2011. Ten years later, an extensive restoration has been completed, with only the interior details remaining. Commemorate this exciting accomplishment for our museum and help support our volunteers as they get this project across the finish line.

LV 95100 Shirt

This T-shirt design features the LV logo and car number on the front, and an illustration of LV 95100 drawn by Jim Dierks especially for this project. The shirt is rendered in three colors, and is professionally screen printed by Gnarly Graphics in East Rochester. Proceeds from each sale help fund the completion of this very important project.
