Scouts visit… A large troop of Boy Scouts visited the New York Museum of Transportation and the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum today. They were treated to tours of both museums, a track car ride and a diesel powered caboose ride. Here we see R&GVRR 1654 and Penn Central caboose 18526 getting ready to off load the Scouts to transfer them to the track car.
Scouts visit… And away they go! The last group of Scouts boards one of the museums’ track cars to head back to NYMT to have lunch and then head home.
