Make
yourselves at home, climb aboard, take photos, and
reminisce over these historic rail cars and vehicles
of days gone by. Take your time and walk through a restored
1909 Erie Railroad depot. See and explore freight
and passengers cars, locomotives, cabooses,
trolleys, and other pieces of transportation equipment.
View photographic displays of Genesee Valley transportation
history, enjoy historic films in the video gallery,
visit a large operating HO model train layout, and
take home a transportation souvenir from our gift shop.
Take a scenic, half-hour track car ride on the railroad
which connects our two museums (weather permitting).
This four-mile round trip is an excellent way to experience
the same thrill of riding track cars the railroaders
of yesterday did and a unique way to travel between
the two museums. |
